Another weekend full of action packed adventures in Atreia has passed and the closed beta event #4 has come to an end on Tuesday, 21st of July. A big thank you again to our eager beta testers who have been able to get a first glimpse of the Abyss, Aion’s unique PvPvE zone where the war between Elyos, Asmodians and Balaur takes place.

We have now established a cease fire, will go over all the feedback we have received and start plotting the plans for the continuation of the war in our next beta event starting on Saturday 1st August 5am AEST. The battle in the Abyss has only just begun - stay tuned for more details as we get closer!

Overview of upcoming Closed Beta Events:
Closed Beta Event #5 - July 31-August 3 Focus: Elyos and Asmodian levels 1-30

Whole bunch of news this morning ladies and gents, New Aion Site, Beta Boards are up, Beta Key Competition ends today.

To start off with, the official Aion US Site has had a make over and looks to be completely redesigned. We’ve also got our own English powerwiki now with great information about the game, straight from the official source. Also looks like we are now on the official US fansite listing, which is going to be great for strengthening the community.

Secondly, the Beta Boards for Aion Online are now up and running again for tomorrow’s CBT4. Once you have your NCSoft master account, you will need to register a forum account with the same details. The steps are easy. Visit the beta boards.

Last but not least, Aion Oceanic’s Beta Key Give-Away ends today at 5PM AEST. So get your entries in on the forums as soon as possible for your chance to win an unlimited beta key for this weekend’s beta and all future beta events.

Our members are reporting that they have received phone calls from their local EB and GAME store saying that their Pre-Order packs for Aion Online are now in store thanks to QV Software. I just rang my local stores to confirm that they received them yesterday afternoon and this morning.

So if you pre-ordered ring them up and double check if they have theirs and go pick them up! The pre-order packs contain an unlimited beta key for this weekends CBT4 and all future events.

The next Aion closed beta event is coming your way on July 2-6, 2009. Enjoy a long weekend of fun in Atreia as testing concentrates on first 20 levels of the Elyos and Asmodians (yep, that’s right, Elyos AND Asmodians). Choose your side and tell us all about your escapades in Elysea and Asmodae in this exciting event.

Updated notes for the latest game changes and additions are coming soon.
The third closed beta event starts on July 2 (12:00 PM PT, 9:00 PM CEST, 8:00 PM BST) and we look forward to seeing you there!

What this means for us Aussies and New Zealanders is the servers go live Friday 3rd July 5am (AEST) and 7am (NZST). I’ll see you all on there on the “Siel” server! Can’t wait.
