Aion Oceanic : Official Oceanic Community Fansite for NCSoft’s Aion Online - Australia and New Zealand

So there seems to be quite alot of people reporting that their McAfee Anti-Virus is reporting & quarantining their Aion.bin file as a Trojan.

As I work for the Australian Reseller of McAfee in the Help Desk you need to realise this is not NCSofts issue. At all. If you are one of the people that are experiencing this issue you will need to do the following:

Contact McAfee directly. They are contactable on 1800 998 887 for their Help Desk. You will need to ask the McAfee Technicians how to run through and change the settings so as that Aion.bin is recognised as a Trusted file. You will also need to tell the Technicians that McAfee is detecting a False Positive and that the Virus Pattern file needs an update to rectify this.
