Ok so i re activated my account turns out i have a 17 ranger........ Went on him and he was grinding mobs soooo slow, like 40-50 sec per mob.

So i re rolled a glad just to cheak the difference got him to level 15 and i was grinding mobs down in like 15-20 secs per mob.

Why such the big difference????

Also my ranger is geard with FULL crit stones.

Tell that to my lv 32 ranger ;p

Rangers do get a lot better. They just lack the skills at the start seeing how they start off as the scout.

And seriously, have you seen their killspeeds at lv 50??

Btw, you wanna use a dagger, and sword till lv 16 / lv 19.

There are others I watch too, but cannot recall their name. But these vids show it is very hard to get away from rangers / out-heal them.

At my level, Clerics can still out-heal me sometimes, and are really hard to take down. You want to try interrupt there heals as much as possible. Chanters, although good a various things, cannot out-heal us. Templars are just annoying, and you want to try and evade their lightning pull. I wont ruin the rest for you

As long as you keep your distance, and are able to kite them you'll be unstoppable though.

I found levelling at your level slow aswell, but at level 25 they become deadly with the addition of the sleep / Silence arrow stigmas.

Wait till lv 25, and you will not be dissappointed.

Rangers do suck at low levels....but then again so do most classes.
Most classes dont come into thier own until 20+ imo anyway...and its not long to wait out.

For the first 10 levels as a scout you only have melee skills, and from level 10-25ish you receive the same amount of melee skills as you do ranged so basically you're playing an Assassin with a bow until the mid to late 20s

I must be odd. I'm the only one that loves my ranger from the moment I got my bow - and that's after playing 4 other classes. I LOVE kiting - sure, it takes a little while to kill something, but I can kill just about anything melee easily, and hardly take a hit at all. Got such withdrawals atm, want to play it but my legion wants me to keep up and level my main lol.

as a chanter ive only just starte getting some really decent spells.. so i can tell you that it will get better XD
